Read more Meet Our New Fellows Bogdana Schmidt: Fellow in Urologic Oncology Bogdana Schmidt was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and moved to Los Angeles with her family when she was eight years old. She completed her undergraduate studies and an MPH degree at UCLA before moving to San Francisco and starting at UCSF for medical school. Her graduate work focused on population and reproductive health and she was quickly drawn to the field of urology as a medical student. She loved the people she worked with, the diversity of pathology, and the patients she cared for and completed her residency training at UCSF. Her research interests include healthcare costs and delivery, use of novel technology in patient care, and survivorship and quality of life in patients with oncologic disease. She is an avid traveler, a culinary aficionado, and a former rock-climbi...
